Pre-Treatment Instructions
3–5 Days Before
- Avoid blood thinners such as fish oil, vitamin E, garlic and ginkgo.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Avoid NSAIDs unless prescribed.
Day of Appointment
- Tell your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any new medications, or have any new medical conditions.
Post-Treatment Instructions
First 24–72 Hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol.
- Avoid excessive heat, including saunas and steam rooms.
- Avoid facials, facial massage and waxing.
- Avoid pressure on or manipulation of treated areas.
- Minimize sun and heat exposure.
