Pre-Treatment Instructions
3–5 Days Before
- Avoid blood thinners such as fish oil, vitamin E, garlic and ginkgo.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Avoid NSAIDs such as naproxen, ibuprofen and aspirin.
Day of Appointment
- Tell your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any new medications, or have any new medical conditions.
Post-Treatment Instructions
First 4–6 Hours
- Do NOT rub, massage or apply pressure to treated areas.
- Stay upright for 4 hours.
- Avoid hats or headbands that press on injection sites.
First 24 Hours
- Avoid exercise and alcohol.
- Avoid heat, including saunas and steam rooms.
- Avoid facials and facial massage.
Results & Expectations
