Botox & Injectables in Naperville, IL
Reduce wrinkles, restore volume, and rejuvenate your appearance with expertly administered Botox and dermal fillers. Non-surgical facial rejuvenation with natural-looking results at our Naperville clinic.
What Are Botox & Injectables?
Injectable treatments fall into two main categories: neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Neuromodulators, including Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, are purified forms of botulinum toxin type A. They work by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles like forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines (the "11s" between the brows). Results appear within 3-7 days and typically last 3-4 months.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in your skin. Leading brands include Juvederm and Restylane. Unlike neuromodulators, fillers work by adding volume beneath the skin's surface. They smooth out static lines (nasolabial folds, marionette lines), plump lips, restore cheek volume, and contour the jawline. Results are immediate and last 6-18 months depending on the product and treatment area.
At Naperville Health & Wellness, our experienced injectors combine both neuromodulators and fillers to create complete facial rejuvenation plans. Our full injectable menu in Naperville also includes Kybella for reducing fullness beneath the chin and SkinVive for smoother, more hydrated skin. Botox and injectables are among our most popular aesthetic treatments, often paired with Sinclair V30 skin rejuvenation for a complete non-surgical refresh.
Treatments We Offer
From wrinkle relaxation to volumising and sculpting, our injectable menu covers every area of facial rejuvenation.

Smooth forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines (glabellar lines) with precise micro-injections of botulinum toxin. Results appear in 3-7 days and last 3-4 months.
Dermal Fillers
Restore lost volume and sculpt facial contours with hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm, Restylane). Treat lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline with immediate, natural-looking results.
Lip Enhancement
Achieve natural-looking lip volume, improved symmetry, and defined lip borders. We use a conservative, layered approach for subtle or dramatic results, your choice.

Benefits of Botox & Injectables
A non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation with results you can see, and results you can trust.
Non-Surgical
No incisions, no general anaesthesia, no scarring. Botox and fillers are minimally invasive treatments performed in-office with no surgical risk.
Quick Treatment
Most injectable sessions take just 15-30 minutes. Walk in on your lunch break and walk out looking refreshed. It's that fast.
Natural-Looking Results
Our injectors use precise techniques and conservative dosing to enhance your features while keeping your expressions natural and authentic.
Minimal Downtime
Return to your daily routine immediately after treatment. Mild swelling or bruising may occur but typically resolves within 24-48 hours.
Customizable
Every face is unique. We personalize each treatment plan to your specific anatomy, aesthetic goals, and comfort level, from subtle refresh to full rejuvenation.
Preventative
Starting Botox early can prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. By relaxing overactive muscles, you slow the progression of dynamic lines into permanent creases.
Botox & Neuromodulators
A muscle-relaxing treatment that softens the expression lines you make when you frown, squint, or raise your brows.
Botox® Cosmetic, along with related neuromodulators like Dysport® and Xeomin®, is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A. Rather than filling or adding volume, it works by temporarily relaxing the specific facial muscles that create dynamic wrinkles: the lines that deepen when you make expressions. By easing that muscle movement, Botox softens forehead lines, crow's feet, and the frown lines (the "11s") between the brows, while keeping your natural expressions intact.
At our Naperville clinic, Botox is a quick, in-office treatment with no downtime. Results are not immediate, they develop gradually over several days, but they're consistent, predictable, and easy to maintain with a simple every-few-months schedule.
The Botox Treatment Process
Consultation & Muscle Assessment
At our Naperville clinic, we begin by watching your face in motion, frowning, smiling, and raising your brows, to see exactly which muscles are creating your dynamic lines. This tells us precisely where Botox will help and how many units you'll need.
Precision Mapping
Your injector marks the exact injection points across the treatment area. Botox is dosed in units, and careful, conservative placement is what keeps your results balanced and natural rather than 'frozen.'
The Injection Session (10-15 min)
Using ultra-fine needles, we place small amounts of product into the mapped muscles. Most patients feel only a brief pinch, numbing usually isn't needed, and you can head straight back to work or your day.
Two-Week Follow-Up
Botox develops gradually over several days, reaching full effect at about two weeks. We'll see you at that two-week mark to review your results and add a complimentary touch-up if any area needs fine-tuning.
Ideal Candidates for Botox
• Adults bothered by dynamic wrinkles, forehead lines, crow's feet, or frown lines that appear with expression
• Anyone interested in preventative treatment to slow deeper creases from forming (often started in the late 20s to 30s)
• Patients who want a natural refresh with no surgery and no downtime
• Those dealing with jaw clenching/TMJ tension or excessive underarm sweating, which Botox can also treat
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions, we'll review your history at your consultation
What to Expect from Botox
• Onset: first changes in 3-7 days, full effect at about 2 weeks
• Duration: results typically last 3-4 months (up to 5-6 months for some patients with regular treatment)
• The look: smoother, softer lines while your natural movement and expressions stay intact
• Maintenance: a quick visit every 3-4 months keeps your results consistent
Dermal Fillers
A volumizing treatment that restores lost fullness and sculpts facial contours, working in a completely different way from Botox.
Dermal fillers take a completely different approach from Botox. Instead of relaxing muscles, they restore and add volume beneath the skin. Most of the fillers we use at our Naperville clinic, including Juvederm® and Restylane®, are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a hydrating molecule your body produces naturally. As we age, we lose facial volume and collagen; fillers replace that lost structure to smooth static lines, plump and define the lips, restore cheek and mid-face volume, contour the jawline, and soften under-eye hollows.
Because fillers physically add volume, results are visible immediately. HA fillers are also reversible: in the rare event an adjustment is needed, they can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, an added layer of safety and peace of mind.
The Dermal Filler Treatment Process
Consultation & Facial Volume Analysis
We assess where you've lost volume or definition and talk through your goals, whether that's fuller lips, lifted cheeks, softer under-eye hollows, or a sharper jawline. Together we select the right filler for each area of your face.
Product Selection & Mapping
Different fillers have different thicknesses and are engineered for different areas, soft gels for lips, firmer gels for cheeks and jawline. Your injector maps your treatment for balanced, proportionate results tailored to your anatomy.
The Injection Session (30-45 min)
Most hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine for comfort, and we may apply topical numbing or use a blunt-tipped cannula in delicate areas. You'll watch volume take shape in real time as we sculpt and refine each area.
Immediate Results & Aftercare
Your results are visible right away, though mild swelling can make them look fuller at first. We'll walk you through aftercare and, for most areas, see you at a follow-up to confirm you love your final look.
Ideal Candidates for Fillers
• Adults with static lines that remain at rest, nasolabial folds or marionette lines, that Botox alone can't address
• Anyone wanting fuller or more defined lips, restored cheek volume, a contoured jawline, or softer under-eye hollows
• Patients noticing age-related volume loss who want a natural, non-surgical lift
• Those who prefer immediate, and reversible, results (HA fillers can be dissolved if ever needed)
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with active skin infections or certain allergies, reviewed at your consultation
What to Expect from Fillers
• Onset: immediate volume you can see right away
• Settling: your final result appears once any swelling subsides, usually within 1-2 weeks
• Duration: 6-18 months depending on product and area, roughly 6-12 months for lips and 12-18 months for cheeks and jawline
• The look: natural-looking volume and contour, with reversible results and easy maintenance touch-ups
Botox: Before & After Care
Simple steps and realistic expectations for your Botox treatment in Naperville.
Before Your Botox
• With your prescribing doctor's ok, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for about 1 week to reduce bruising
• Skip alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
• Arrive with clean skin and let us know about any medications, allergies, or medical conditions
• Reschedule if you have an active skin infection or breakout in the treatment area
• If you bruise easily, arnica beforehand can help
After Your Botox
• Stay upright and avoid lying flat for about 4 hours after treatment
• Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 hours
• Don't rub or massage the treated areas, this can move the product
• Gently exercising the treated muscles (a few frowns and brow raises) in the first hour is fine and can help Botox settle
• Minor redness or small bumps at injection sites fade within an hour or two; any bruising can be covered with makeup
Botox Results & Timeline
• Onset: first softening of lines in 3-7 days
• Full effect: about 2 weeks after treatment
• Duration: typically 3-4 months, sometimes 5-6 months with regular treatment
• Maintenance: plan a visit every 3-4 months to keep results consistent
Possible Botox Side Effects
• Temporary redness, swelling, or minor bruising at injection sites
• Occasional mild headache that resolves on its own
• Rarely, temporary eyelid or brow droop or slight asymmetry, which usually resolves within a few weeks

Dermal Fillers: Before & After Care
What to do before, how to care for your results after, and what to realistically expect from fillers at our Naperville clinic.

• No alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
• Schedule fillers at least 2 weeks before or after any dental work
• If you're prone to cold sores and having lip filler, tell us so we can pre-treat; avoid fillers with an active cold sore or skin infection
• Planning around an event? Allow about 2 weeks for any swelling or bruising to fully settle
After Your Fillers
• Expect some swelling, tenderness, or bruising, most noticeable in the first 24-72 hours, especially with lip filler
• Gently apply a cold compress to ease swelling and sleep slightly elevated the first night
• Avoid strenuous exercise, heat (saunas, hot yoga), and alcohol for 24-48 hours
• Don't press, massage, or manipulate the area unless we instruct you to
• Stay hydrated and avoid dental cleanings and facials for about 2 weeks

• Settling: final result once swelling subsides, usually within 1-2 weeks
• Duration: 6-18 months, roughly 6-12 months for lips and 12-18 months for cheeks and jawline
• Reversible: HA fillers can be dissolved if an adjustment is ever needed
Possible Filler Side Effects
• Swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites
• Temporary lumps or firmness that typically smooth out as the filler settles
